I did. I have a few other pairs of shell on the barrie, all bluchers, and all a half size down. I initially ordered the J. Crew 8 boot in the same size as my bluchers and they were tight. I then ordered my true size to compare the two and the latter fit much better. I returned the first order and have been happy with the true to size fit half way through the break-in method.

+1 !!!!

Do either of you recommend the plaza last in non-boot offerings?  I'm considering a straight tip bal and a medallion toe blucher both on the plaza last from J Gilbert. Thanks...

Great welt and outsole for this upper, laces are cool addition as well.  This on the modified too?

In my experience, the plaza is a great last no matter what the makeup. And JGilbert is always quality makeups as well.

Also, FWIW, those JCrew plain-toes above look far more attractive than I would've initially thought. Bravo on your collection, Roguls.

Hey guys I would like to know are there any differences, in terms of fitting and feel when walking, between the ptb and chukka? Should I buy them in different size?

Let's say they are both shell and in barrie last.

Your input is appreciated.
