Major #firstworldproblems this morning. frown.gif
(Any ideas why this happens in general?)

Have your cobbler stitch the tongue to the boot. C&j does this on most of their boots however I should warn you that it rips off easily

Just got a call from Alden about these but I already forgot the specs. Are these on a double waterloc or just double leather?

Wore my black calf RL Lindrick boots yesterday (made by C&J) and they indeed have the tongue stitched on one side.

hey, don't know if this has been asked before, but have you been using regular shoe trees in indy boots? I've put mine in but i'm getting a crease along the heel - any advice?
I use the shoe trees with the spring whip and knob at the heel but mainly because it is hard to find shoe trees that fit my small shoes. No issues.

First time wearing Leather Soul Cognac FLex Boots

^^ Nice boots! Cognac is a great color, especially with denim.
Was a LS cognac chukka pic that first got me interested in Alden. Unfortunately, I don't think they ever remade it.
