It's starting to snow up here, north of Toronto. Last time I'll probably have these out in the wild until spring. Sorry for the poor pics, the lighting in the office is giving off a green cast.

Thanks man ! I sport my 403s and Wolverine 1000 mile boots in the winter (or Swimms if i need to be wearing dress shoes to an event). I'm a Hydraulics Technician therefore I have no real 'need' for quality dress shoes, i just like 'em;) As for the commute...42 miles by car door to door. confused.gif

I just tried it on a few different pair of Alden and they seem to be excluded from the sale once again.

It works for the cordovan wingtips and knocks them down to about $500. I think their web guys forgot to program these to be excluded from the sale because none of the other Aldens (or Barbours) seem to be discounted.

I'm looking to trade my used Alden whiskey plain toes, size 8.5 (Barrie) for Polo C&J plain toes, size 9, in similar condition. They're great shoes but any time I want the pop of whiskey I reach for my longwings, so these don't get much use. With only one plain toe shoe in my rotation, I think a darker shell would work better. There are some scuffs and dings that come with wear, and the worst ones are visible here on the right shoe.
