My plain toe J.crew Alden's just arrived...You're in luck Blank bc I couldn't find a pic of these ANYWHERE online so I just manned up and ordered them. Can't make up my mind about them. The quality of the leather seems to be well....lacking. Granted my other pair of Alden's are number 8 cordovan, but the seams don't even line up on the tongue and make for an uncomfortable fit. I got them at a nice discount but jeez, they might be returned in favor of the indy's. Here's some pics sorry for the quality I am tired and don't want to bust out the nice camera.
Let me know what you alden experts think!

For what it's worth, I just used the J.Crew 25% off black Friday code to buy a pair of Aldens. Wasn't supposed to work so they might catch it at some point today.

I have a pair of whiskey cap toe boots from UnionmadeXAlden collabo that I would like to pair with a nice belt that can a. maintain roughly the same type of whiskey color on the boot, b. be versatile enough to wear with trousers, chinos, cords, and even jeans. Can any of you fine gents lead me to this promiseland? If so I will greatly provide some of these

FYI pictures of the shoes were posted on this thread several days to a week ago. The real life pictures make them look a lot more attractive than J. Crew's.

Along with my Whiskey LWB (Barrie 9D) I'm also looking to unload a way underutilized, but BEAUTIFUL pair of Burgundy calfskin NST shoes for $200 shipped. These things are great, but I just don't wear em enough to justify keeping. They're 9D on the MODIFIED last...so comfy, and very rare. PM me if you're interested...

Been kicking the crap out of my LS Ultimate Jumpers this fall, LOVE LOVE LOVE them and can't wait for the Chromxl pre-orders to come in! I'll then wear those with denim and keep these for tweed and flannel. Got em on now with my new Epaulet Donegals in Navy and the colors compliment each other so beautifully!
