By the way, those are FANTASTIC.
That's what I figured (large). And thank you, I'm pretty happy with them. I'm a bit worried that I just spent $710 on a pair of shoes.

Yours look MUCH darker than they do on the site and the ones I saw in person.
Yes, as far as I know they're the 9900s pictured in that link. I'm a shell novice, but I've already noticed that the appearance of ravello can vary quite a bit depending on ambient light. I think if I set them outside, they would look very similar to these

Thank you. I wanted to be sure, just in case.

Shuffle (don't walk), on carpet only, be careful getting your foot in and out (unlace completely and use a tree), and don't lace up tightly (it can cause creasing by applying a torque across the upper). Do that and you should be able to avoid creasing the vamp. In my experience it's the getting the foot in and out that is most likely to cause an inadvertent crease during try-on.
Those are great-looking shoes, by the way.
I'll definitely take the receipt literally then. The fit seems to be quite good, with an ever so slight heel slippage that I think would diminish when the soles break in. I'll try them on a few more times to be sure.
