Yeah, preferably shell LWBs. I'd be interested... maybe I don't have to go Barrie for my first Aldens ha.

Try Brooks Brothers Black Fleece. Their LWBs are on the Grant. AFAIK, they only make it in black pebblegrain and black cordo however.

Bummed that after two months the stitching on my suede PTBs is coming un-done...

Also had this resolved at Alden SF. They sent me to Mac & Co. shoe repair on Kearny (next to Anthony's) and had the repair added to their tab. Very content.
