Those of you who have used venetian shoe cream, on your whiskey and/or ravello, did you find that it darked the color? I use it often on my CXL and dark shell but i'm worried about using it on ravello and whiskey and changing the color.

For example, I get the impression you - even if by the slightest of margins - would favor the ravello LWB over the cigar LWB. I personally would switch that order, and the margin, for that model, would be more than slight. nod[1].gif Having said all of that, I have an equal number of models in each color.
But of course there is no right or wrong, just personal preferences ...
A good weekend to you, fine sir.

nephew,
the best to you
have a good weekend

nephew,
my understanding is that the rainbow is cigar, ravello and whiskey. i have not come across a #4 chukkas. i have seen mahogany chukkas. even if mahogany and #4 are the same, your definition of the rainbow would be nearly impossible to achieve. in my book, he has met the standard

I don't have to wear suits anymore.  Jeans, chino's blazers ...Thoughts cousins?

Either cigar or ravello would work. Honestly just get the first one that is available in your size.

I am wearing cigar chukkas today.

Thank you all, gentlemen. And to Kashiwa as well. Missed getting him in the multiquote. I blame the iPhone.

cigar and ravello lwb are good looking shoes- i am big believerwhen it comes to the exotic colors that time will take care of your issue; therefore, i would do nothing

Thank you for your advice.  I'll post pictures at some point.

New arrival. Whiskey LHS.  Weird, these have these bumps on the left shoe vamp, must have been something in the processing or shipping.  Haven't really seen this before.  Wondering if I should return these, damn they look so nice with the coloring... My bet this is animalistic leather, it will work itself out over time.... still ... Uncle maybe weigh in..

I mean what the hell looks like some killie desing ... I must be over processing but don't want to crease em before the final verdict.  Has anyone seen this before?

i have those bumps/striations on a couple of my shells. it actually does not go away. if you aren't okay with it you should send them back.

Chipshot, if it bothers you, send em back, but I think they look great

nephew,
today is a good day for whiskey. the whiskey color looks good (dark then lighter) i would use the break in method to ascertain if the fit is correct and i would keep the shoes if the fit is right

Go to a shoe repair shop and say "stitch this darn tongue in place!" smile.gif

Or get a bellows tongue. That would be more $ tho.
