I was just going off of what I have seen on the AoC website recently. The only cigar longwing irregulars in the last week have been a size 8D. It appears that they still have that size available in first quality shoes: http://www.alden-of-carmel.com/index.cfm/Shoes-Cigar_284.htm

You may be right, but perhaps the OP should clarify.

Look around and you'll see virtually every style & color worn w/denim and chinos so just pick what you like. If you're talking about just pants and not a suit or coat then I wouldn't be overly concerned here.

So are you saying that Adam is the Shoe Nazi ("No shell for you!")?

I guess a simple question about the hue classified me as a high maintenance customer in his eyes because he then refused to process my original order for the 1st quality pair that is still listed in my size on the site and suggested I try The Shoe Mart as they might be more "accommodating" of my color question. Not a big deal, they're just shoes and I don't want to clog up this thread with a sob story but just wanted to give you guys a heads up on my experience.

Interesting ... and troubling all at once.

Swung by Alden DC earlier. They have several models of whiskey and cigar including the cigar captoe boot, whiskey Indy and whiskey shortwing on the Tremont. Also a few one off discounted pairs including cigar captoe balmoral (8.5e) for $395 and a blue suede unlined blucher on flex welt (10dx2) for $300

Seems like you have visited all of the Alden branded stores... Nice

I have the cigar captoe and whiskey Indy from Alden DC, both are great models.

Anyone have any experience wearing "e" sizes in tremont? Wear barrie in 9.5E or 10D... I had a pair of shoes in tremont 10D, but they pinched the balls of my feet too much, so I had to get rid of them... I was wondering if I went to an E in tremont if I still needed to go a size up (10D) or if I could size down (9.5) in length....

The DC offers quite a bit more selection than does SF. I was praying they would have a 12d in the blue suede. After a couple of monuments, my feet were already aching in my Trickers

Looking looking for LHS Whiskey 9D anywhere.  I did luck into some Whiskey LWB's at Alden SF, the only Whiskey Long Wings they had.  Stroke of luck.  Whiskey is a great color for the desert and can be worn year round.  Please let me know if you run across any in your travelsmarchal.gif.

that is interesting
