Thank you. Do you know if Alden makes a chromexcel boot on one of the slimmer lasts? Would like to try something other than Trubalance.

I never seemed to find a place to wear them.

Did you consider white pants and shirt?
Accessorize with a few gallons of 2%.

Sweet - maybe pickup an old Divco milk truck as well? icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

When faced with the dreaded unraveling of the quarter-to-vamp stitch, which I have woefully discovered on my poor 2-week-old NSTs that have thus far been worn only indoors, which of the following are reasonable to expect from the seller?
1) exchange for a new pair of shoes without said defect
2) free repair of shoes by a cobbler of the seller's choosing, on the seller's dime, but with attendant wait
3) refund of purchase price upon return of shoes

I thought I could live with the loose stitch, but it has steadily unraveled further and the gap between the vamp and the quarter continues to increase. Tragic...

Pardon the banal sizing post intrusion but I have two questions for the experienced crew here:

-If I'm a 10D in Leydon, would I be 10.5 in Truebalance? I would likely be a 10 A/C in Barrie but the D in Barrie is just way too big in the heel.

-On that note, if the heel in Barrie is my issue and I've only tried on shoes, might I expect better luck with a 10D boot, or should I seek a 10 A/C boot as well?

Many thanks and again, I know these can get tiresome.

I would go with a narrow 10.5c in the true balance

Leydon last runs more or less tts. I would go down half a size for the tB last.
