thanks guys, chinos are RRL Officer chinos. I succumbed to the pressure and got em. As far as the boots, they were LS Ultimate Jumpers with a leather sole and dark edge trim. I wanted to beat em up for a year, which I did, and add to the sole, gave em a triple, and asked the guy to give me very light edge trim. He basically scrubbed em clean. And yes, I guess they can be called "poop kickers". When you have a 4 and 3 year old at home, potty mouth kind of takes a back seat...smile.gif

Where can I get PTB's in brown or dark tan, non-grain calf? There are some models in the Japanese market but I can't find any in the EU or US.
