Josh at Unionmade was rocking his new pair of these this weekend at the shop. I think they look great with jeans and no-show socks.
The burnished tan is really good in person and is one of those colors that you can build up some darker areas (like the toe) over the years with polishing.
These are probably best for wearing with slimmer jeans or pants with smaller leg openings.

I am currently wearing a Pitt Boot 7.5D, Barrie last. They look a lot longer (feet pressed against the bottom of the shoe test

) but feels about right. Maybe around .5 inch longer. There is a nagging voice inside my head that they are too big (even though it feels good). I am thinking I can get away with a slightly bigger shoe because it's a boot.

I am 7.5E in Brannock device.

I am looking to get a Shell Cordovan Chukka boots (Barrie Last) and/or an Shell Cordovan Lace up medallion cap toe or lwb (Aberdeen Last).

Should I get 7E on both or go with my true size instead?

I apologize for the questions as I have very little experience with Alden.

Thanks for your help.

I hope someone has pics also. I am putting an order in for my size with them for the shoe and it could take up to a year for them to arrive.

C, your size is currently in stock at the factory FYI.

This has been a tough week on my shoe budget. Ordered the cigar captoe boots from Alden D.C. and my short wings from Leather Soul came in.
