On another note, I'm now heading to the hospital for the (scheduled) birth of my first child, a baby girl.  If I ever have a son, I just might name him Alden.  My choice of footwear today?  Ravello PTB, maiden voyage as well :)

I got those years ago. I used to stand all day on a trading floor and they were very comfortable. Standing all day in leather soles can be a killer on the feet!! But that's me....IMG_2382.JPG

Those were probably the most comfortable Alden shoe ever. Extra soft soles and soft padded linings. I had them in loden green myself. We sold them in white and tan suede in the past.
