You sure those are Aldens?
The only BB cordovan boots I can recall are Crockett &Jones on the 325 last.

The "Made in England" would be a dead giveaway. smile.gif

The 325 last fits a bit large. Maybe not quite Barrie large.
Plaza last is pretty TTS.

I take a 10.5US/10UK in a 325 last boot.
Also take a 11US in the Plaza.
YMMV, but I'm guessing you'd take a 9 in Plaza.

I think the SF community has this one right over the BB SA...

Dianite soles means there were probably made in England

Crosspost from the Epaulet thread--Natural Chromexcel longwings with one treatment of Montana Pitch Blend (which was a pain to get out of the broguing). I love the color variation on these.

Why don't you look at other options, like the cap toe, and you could keep both, just use them for different stuff

 I'm a little hesitant to go outside of my comfort zone.  Love the LWB.  Thought I had my hands on the ravello shortwing (LS) but just barely missed out. I like the medallion cap toe and the wt boot, but haven't found either in my size.  I gave the NST some thought, but like the long wing the best.  I'm a wuss when it comes to trying something new that's this expensive. Thanks for the advice.

That is what I want to hear.
If I am in Beverly Hills can your folks there make a fairly accurate (with some allowance for error of course) determination as to whether and which models can feet my wide and high arched wide toed feet?
I'd be willing to pre-pay and wait 18 mos, but I'd hate to do so and find out Aldens are just the wrong shoes for my feet, in any size.
