what he paid is irrelevant. if J. Crew accidentally rang them up for $1 would you say $100 is a shit deal for them now?

while I completely agree with you that what he, or anyone, initially paid for something they want to resell is irrelevant, based on this guys attitude in this thread I'd be reluctant to give him even a dollar for these.

So take your shit deal and shove it up your ass..... Thank you.

Scrote,
you think the same thread readers your "braaaag"ed to about the deal you got on these are going to pay $500 for them?
cool.
best of luck.
zazaza enough. 500 is still a deal regardless of what he paid for them. let others decide if they want to pay 500 for them without making a big stink about it here.

Also, my CXL indies crease like my cordovan shoes, sort of wavy. i have seen some pairs that crease hard though, and I think those are pretty ugly.

Anyone have any size 11 D PTB's in #8, Cigar or Ravello that you would like to find a home for?

If those were a 10, I'd be all over them for $500. I don't care if you bought em for a handjob in the fitting room, that's a pretty outstanding deal for an outstanding pair of boots.

^ Is that 3PM Eastern? And don't get him started on handjobs - this is the guy, after all, that jumped on to this thread with the wonderful, unprompted diatribe about being reprimanded at work for making comments about "queers" (and some of his best friends are gay...)
The guy can list whatever price he so desires. Don't know why people make a stink about it here.

To Alden Shells, is E fitting the widest in regular stock?frown.gif  Which last is most generous?

Hi Renn,

It depends on the model shoe. There are some on the Barrie last that are available in EE and EEE sizes. When I was working to get my own size down, I ordered and received a Color #8 LWB in a 9EEE from Shoemart. It was enormous compared to a 9.5e. Same length, but very voluminous. My guess is that Alden makes EE and EEE widths available in the more common cordovan and calf models. If you have exceptionally wide feet, you might try the Truebalance last as that is the roomiest of the Alden models. Good luck with your search and welcome.

I'm sorry but in zazaza's defense: (a) this is the alden thread, not the B&S forum and (b) if you want to sell a pair of Aldens, it's kind of ridiculous to post about the exact price for a half-off deal you wrangled from a retailer, wear them, and then a month later post them for sale at a far higher price.

Otherwise, yes, it is a reasonable price.

You sound like you need one... Chill out with the profanity. We're all adults here, I'm assuming... He simply called you out.  Not a big deal.
