#4/black shell saddle shoes in front of the louvre for their first outing!
These look better in the wild than the site pictures and that is saying a lot!
Just ordered, time for some suede:
Perfect time for suede!
I suggest you guys take a look here...

Did you not notice until you put them on your feet?
it's Friday, forecast for partly cloudy in Seattle which is like a sunny day here, going with the flex welt chukka...
also got an email from Blackbird, they're releasing a new Alden for those saddle fans out there:
Those saddle shoe's are beautiful!
NEW Suede LWB from the Epaulet Shop.
I do have a question about a potential problem with these shoes. The top eyelet on the right shoe is missing the metal piece. Is this a big deal? I just got the shoes today and have only tried them on. To me it dosn't seem like a big deal but didn't know if this missing piece would have any negative longterm impact on these shoes. Pics are included.
I would have that handled. But the shoes look great and this is the perfect time of year to have them added to the rotation.
Alden for Winn Perry:
GNATTY!
The Sasquatch of the Alden world is for sale. I own a pair of the #4 4x4's and the hue of the shell is fantastic. Forgive me 'cause I know I posted some pics before, but here's a few more and good luck with you're sale of the #4 4x4's.
Fantastic. I would love to have these in the rotation.
Still haven't worn them. I don't have the J Crew LWBs but I do have some tan calf LWBs in addition to whiskey LWBs. I find they look different enough to me. Sure, it's a subtle distinction but I'm sure you can convince yourself you need both if you try.
I have a pair of the Whiskey PTB and did not wear them that much but likethem nore now. They seem to have darkened a little which makes them better. It may be from my shoe brush. Whatever....I like the more now.
