What brand of wax do peeps here prefer?

Also for Color 8 am I better off using Kiwi Cordovan or Alden Color 8 wax?

For Color 8, I doubt you could go wrong with either of those. Alden gave me some of their Color 8 wax when I bought my 975s from their shop; I'm not sure who makes it but it seems great. You'll want to use less than normal amounts of wax on cordovan.

Also I have a Star 100% horsehair brush and find that the bristles are sometimes falling out after a brushing. Is this normal?

I haven't notice that on mine at all. I have 2 of those.

Hard to believe that both the Indy and the Jumper are both on the Trubalance. The Jumper's toebox looks so much sleeker. Guess it must be the moc stitching on the Indy.

Alden Brown wax is what I use - it is almost an exact match for Ravello and was recommended to me by Alden of Carmel. In Kiwi it would be dark Tan.
