OK thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for

For sure not. Trubalance is much wider at the toe box than Barrie. I do subscribe to cordovan = looser though.

I've heard on the forums that they used to last to a different width if requested, but are no longer doing so. Maybe someone can confirm.

By the way, does anybody know when the Context collab of these is going to be re-stocked?

Don't know but have them and they are very cool boots. Was in Context a couple of days ago (ordered the Rough Roy)...nice guys, give them a call or email and ask.

I have a pair of Indy 405's that will need a new heel and sole before too long. Have any of you done this yet? If so, did you go with original or did you switch to something else? I'm thinking about the commando sole (if possible). Would like to hear input! Thanks

Has anyone had any issue with the welt stitching and sole stitching on their new aldens where the welt stitching and sole stitching are sewn a bit off at a certain portion of the shoe and run to the extreme outer edge of the welt and shoe? Is this considered a minor blemish for Alden new shoes or should these shoes have been flagged by Alden quality control? Any thoughts? By the way, first time poster here to this excellent forum.

That's a bummer! I would not be happy with that. I would return.

Does anyone know if there are makeups of the Indy with a vibram lug sole besides the 404? I really like how chamois looks but if I'm getting an indy might as well get one with a serious sole.
