The specs are as follows:
Whiskey Shell
Plaza Last
Full Eyelets (matching)
Antique Edge Trim
Closed Heel/Flat Welt
Commando Sole
If you are seriously interested, please pass along your email address and shoe size on the Plaza last to me via PM, so I can send it along to the retailer. He will contact you directly for the 50% deposit that will be required and then the order can be placed. The retailer anticipates the boots being ready in 6 - 12 months, but obviously we are the whim of Alden -- wait will be worthwhile, however, in my opinion.
Pretty excited -- I think it's going to be a pretty badass and unique boot. Haven't seen anything similar out on the marketplace.

Who's the friendly retailer?

My thought exactly. I am going to contact Leffot and see what I need to do to get in on the preorder for them.

As for the whiskey shortwing boot, would be all over it in spite of swearing off shoe purchases for the rest of the year if it were on the Grant last.
Well, I have ONE more purchase to make and then no more until 2012. I'm serious smile.gif

Technically speaking they wouldn't arrive until 2012, and they are boots, so I think it'd be alright to purchase them under your guidelines.

shoemart irregular list in my email today. nothing too exciting in the 10.5-11.5 range...a pair natural cxl PTB's in 11.5 D was the only thing that i liked but a little too big in the barrie for me.

new irregular list is out from shoemart

edit: chorizo beat me to it.

Can somebody please pm me with details of the irregulars list. I am interested in UK9.5. thanks

^ Call or e-mail Shoemart to have them sign you up for the list. You will need to provide them with your size and width in U.S. sizing.

Nothing very interesting on the list for me. I may see if I can fit into 10.5C on the Aberdeen. I usually take 10.5D.
