Looking for a casual summer shoe- does anyone have the Camp Moccs? If so, any brief endorsements or pictures?

Where did you buy them from?

I will apologize first - 819 pages in this thread and I tried reading to find the answer to my question but gave up pretty quickly; 819 pages. Also tried search, did not get the exact answer i was looking for. Alden gurus, my questions are: What do people think of the AF95 calfskin boot on the Leydon last? Is it worth a buy at $450? How does it compare to boots by the English manufacturers, say Alfred Sargent or Loakes? Links where this is already discussed this would also help. Thank you in advance for your time.

If I didn't already have AF84s (Barrie), I'd be all over those AF95s.
I'd rank Alden with AS, C&J or Tricker's. Definitely above the few Loakes that I've seen.

To the fellas who have spotted rarer shells on the 2nd list; are they listed as 'cigar' or 'ravello' or whatever in the description?

Gotcha. I haven't seen any then in my size for the last 2 months.

I got a pair of Whiskey Longwings from the seconds list and I wear a 10D Barrie. I do not usually see rare shell on the seconds list in my size. I mean maybe once every 5-6 months. Also I am pretty sure mine had been lightly worn before and they came with some kind of aftermarket Alden commando sole. Which I actually found to be a bonus. I will tell you that for shoes that I plan to wear a lot I will probably not chance seconds. They are great for something you are on the fence about but I have seen problems with some of mine. Also they come with the "Circle R".
