I am really diggin these from need supply.

Me too...I have a pair coming next week. The vegetable tanned leather looks like a "poor" man's whiskey.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on these as well!

Anyone know how the vegetable tanned calf leather wears over time (say, compared to Chromexcel)? Any thoughts on best practices to keep this type of leather looking clean/sharp vs. rugged/"patinaed" over time?

I see this makeup as a good "tweener" among the more casual, original Indy and the dressier shell versions.

I told myself I wouldn't buy another Trubalance boot since I already have 2 others, but I couldn't resist ordering this. I definitely like the way it looks better than the 'stock' Indy boot.

Just a quick question about the Barrie last. I have a pair of PTBs on Barrie. When I tried on a pair of LWB on the barrie in the same size, they felt somewhat different (more elongated and straight, less curvy). They also appeared that way upon visual inspection, although that might be an optical illusion because of the wing. Is it true that the barrie for longwings is actually different than the one used for the plain toes?

I think it's about the same. LWBs may feel a little wider, but not much.
