those cigar indys are amazing. I can grab a pair from fransboone right now but the crepe sole kills it for me..

Unless you are willing to mask it with Saphir shell cordovan cream in color "cordovan", it is probably there to stay.

i agree with the comments from my nephew. my recommendation is leave them alone, enjoy wearing the boots and use method to care for the shoes

Thanks rtp. One of the "suits" from work noticed and commented on my boots today. I thanked him and was relieved he didn't ask me where he could find a pair.

Epaulet just got a restock of both the Innsbruck Indy (fantastic makeup) and the Salzburger Shortwing.

This could be the best indy I've ever seen. Everything you'd want on this boot.

Take them to a good cobbler. He'll strip them down. Sometimes repeated powder soaks up the oil. If you go to the right people, those boots can be fixed.
