Looking good @mdubs! I love how you "leisure" about in Suede LHS trying to decide what to wear for the day. I envision you in a smoking jacket as well with a pipe. Professional man of leisure...

Yep, I take Trubalance in the same size as Barrie.

Thanks gents! Somehow, I end up reaching for my 975s most often. I guess the antique edge and welt make them more casual. I think I prefer the black edge as it's more versatile.

Kinda suprised @LeatherSOUL didn't come up with these, but they're smarter than that!

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately they don't have my Barrie size.

Would adding Toppy to the sole affect the way cordovan shoes fit? I know they aren't as soft as double leather, but my shoes oddly feel tighter now that I've added a Toppy sole to the bottoms.

Yeah, they are. I know someone mentioned a few pages back that shell fits a bit tighter than other makes. I guess I have a high instep and voluminous foot which makes it feel a bit tight. That would explain why I've always been a fan of suede and CXL over most other materials.

I'll most likely end up listing these up FS tomorrow. If anyone wants new Cigar chukkas in 8.5 D Barrie, you can PM me prior to that. I'm only trying to get my money back - which is basically what it would cost to get them new from Alden DC/SF or whatever minus the wait.

Ravello NST Boot Aberdeen 4030 is up on the bay with only less than two hours to go. Looks to be in very good shape in 9D. Not my size or listing... Pretty amazed they are still up..

I believe all three are the same.  I don't think there is such thing as "Chromexcel Alpine grain."  I believe it's just another example of J Crew misinformation.

My chukka's were a little tight initially. I think they run tighter than shoes. That is one fine shoe you have there. Hope they work out for you.
