Agreed. I already have the 4060 in #8 or I'd be all over them.

Crap, don't come in this thread for a day and miss some shoes (chamois day trippers). Think I'll shift that money towards 4060 in king instead.

Ha, Yeah thats what I was thinking too, but I just wanted to ask. I was fairly certain there would be a crazy explaination I was unaware of.

The boot still intrigues me thou, not enough to buy it but close. Wish it was a different color.

The Alden Indys are my only shoes without a commando or dainite sole that I don't mine wearing in wet weather. Alden describes it as a neocork outsole. Whatever it is, I've often wondered why Alden only uses this on the Indy and doesn't offer it on more of their shoes. Is there a drawback to it? Why not use this instead of the flex waterlock soles?

I have the 4060 in #8 and that isnt even a consideration when thinking about these, haha. 2 pretty different boots in my opinion.

I do have the reverse chamois wingtip coming and that is what is keeping me from these.

A little CXL x LS for church this morning. THese get lost in the back of the closet but every time I wear them I remember how comfortable the trubalance last is for me. They feel much better than Barrie.

For me it's the same boot except in chamois instead of shell. My 4060 have the speed hooks and the commando soles. Not to mention the grant last and captoe. I already have LWBs in chamois but that's not as big a consideration for me.
