those jcrew lwbs are fire. so bummed my size was 'lost' in transit.. If I can ever get a pair in that shade, sans brass eyelets, I'll likely get them converted

Yesterday, the Alden x Frans Boone Color 8 "Dr. Jones" Boot for a rainy day in SoCal... Argyle OTC and Navy Pinstripe Suit.

Today, my last day at work for the year! Alden x JCrew Ravello LWBs. AE Candy Cane Laces. CHUP "Snowflake" Socks. RRL Raw Denim and a Green JCrew Sweater. Unfortunately, I won the Ugly Christmas Sweater competition today, mainly cause I was one of two wearing a sweater and I am the boss... :-(

Happy Holidays!!!

Looking good Mike. I like those laces and unlikely they made my size I can still wish a miracle this time of year and ask for a size 13 Ravello LWB with brass eyelets from JCrew. Miracles do happen!

Merry Christmas! Enjoy the time off.

See Ya,
Steve

I was considering picking those up but the 12.5 on trubalance was just too big. Even with the C width I couldn't swing it. Nice pickup!

BootSpell-very nice looking kick around boot. For boots commando sole is my favorite.

I took a chance and honestly figured I would be re-listing them as I thought they would be too narrow..12.5 is my best fit but luckily can squeeze into a 12 also.

Thanks @totalair1

I can't warm up to Rendezvous.  Been a half dozen times this year and it's always a bit dry and the rub a bit bland.  Love the back alley entrance and overall vibe but there's better in Memphis.

But have to agree with my fellow Texans, BBQ begins and ends with Texas brisket.  Can't wait to go home to the Republic for some good food.

Re: Houston area BBQ, hands down Killen's is the best. Gatlin's is pretty good too. Pappa's restaurants are all good standbys but there is much better food to be found if you look around a little (though never been to the Pappas steakhouse and I hear that's great).

This thread inspired me to buy 4 pairs of Chup socks, thanks y'all

I see a lot of love for Chup socks here; J. Crew has a few pairs on sale for 40% off right now, which makes them $21 if anyone is interested.
