More than the chamois upper, I prefer the commando sole. It means I don't have to worry about if it's raining that day or if I'm walking through a gravel parking lot. I also find it to be much moe comfortable than the standard leather soles.

Thoughts anyone??

What about NST on the plaza last? Or do you think that's too wide and square in the front?

Yes, that should work

The shoe mart.

Was this a new order?

I'm going to catch hell for this but I still don't get why people like ravello so much. It's rather orange-y. Could never get it to work with outfits.

I really liked the olive pair but they did not have my size.

Not sure how it works in Canada but might be some stock in store in olive?

@Mutombo, I also think you should be fine.  I have a pair of 379X suede boots and I sized them like Barrie/TB and they fit perfectly.  I still think the pics shown look more like the Trubalance than my 379X lasted boots.  The toe has the slight bump that the TB toe has and the 379X has a narrower waist.  But then, it's hard to tell from the pics.  But it looks like you got a great deal for a nice pair of boots.

Not a fan of the plaza last for shoes (with the exception of one make-up, the LS Semi-brogue in black shell -- looks like the AE Strand).  I considered the J Gilbert make-up (NST) on plaza and commando, but not interested.

However, the plaza last for boots are exceptional.

Wow,   :worship2:   I may have to reconsider!  They look great!  I think though, that I would prefer this make up on double leather soles.  Much thanks for sharing these pics, my plaza-fiendish-friend; enjoy often and in great health!

I think so too. The pictures I'm seeing online of the 379X last appear to have a more bulbous toe than in the pictures shown by Brooks Brothers.

I guess I won't know for sure until they show up.
