I messaged both users last night. I got some really questionable responses from the user here on SF. This morning the seller on eBay responded stating he does not have the boots listed on SF.

So what concerns me is some guy joined SF 3 days ago, only has 2 posts, can't string together a complete sentance, is using stolen pictures for a sale ad and has offered to sell me the other boots, which I've been outbid on, outside of eBay and other red flags from messaging with him, I'm calling it fraud.

How would one go about reporting a possible fraudulent sale listing in the Marketplace? Use the email listed in the Marketplace or is there another more direct route? I'm on my phone this weekend and might be missing a "report" button in the thread.

More than anything, I don't want to see someone get scammed for $900.

Even the description is identical, really suspicious.....

Yes. There's a report(Flag logo) button at the button of every thread in both Mobile and Desktop interface that you could report for a possible fraudulent sale.

I don't use the SF Marketplace very often but thanks for taking the time to post this.

OMG, such a killer indy. Wish I had thought about this pair before I ordered my navy CXL from JG.

From what I understand, one should size up on the Grant last but am I better off with a 7.5D or 8D if those are my only choices?

I wear 8D comfortably with boot socks but 8.5D is too long in Grant/Plaza. 7.5E is my preferred size and 8E fits me pretty well in those two lasts.

I size up from the sizing most comfortable.

Damn you're right, the flag. I forgot all about that.
The ad has now been flagged as well as an email sent to the general styleforum email account.

Thanks for the response! Do you also take a 7.5E in Barrie?

Alden for Brooks Brothers Black Fleece in Black Shell Coridvan on Grant last. An unworn eBay find at $275! My first Grant last.

I known its not Ravello or Cigar, but I'm digging the black shell more and more.

With respect to my previous post, how did you size the Grant last compared with Barrie, Trubalance, etc?  Looking to pick up my first on the Grant last as well.  Many thanks.

The Barrie, Trubalance, and Modified last I go down a half size to 11.5 D from my normal 12 D.

The Grant for me fit TTS at a 12 D spot on.
