Those are awesome! I have been trying to decide between Cigar or Ravello toe cap boots. Both look gorgeous.

Now we're talking! Simply beautiful, as Al Green once sang.

My advice would be to snatch up whichever one pops up first in your size.  If you're not already in line for either pair then you might have more time than you'd like to consider which you want more.

Thanks for the advice. I'm first in line for a cigar tc boot and like in 10th place for tc boot in Ravello. It seems that cigar cordovan shade seems to change on depending on the batch.

Nice!  I would take the cigar boot even though ravello is my favorite shell color.  I think cigar has more consistant coloring batch to batch than ravello.  Also, cigar seems easier to pair with outfits.  I own and love both boots though, so I don't think you can go wrong with either (and yes, you should get both).

Ha! That is the plan!

Have you worn cigar boots with blue dress pants or indigo? I wear a lot of dark blue pants and I am curious how the the boots and pants combo would look...

I don't see a problem wearing cigar with blue at all.

Perhaps a stupid question, but give me a pass if you would: Have a new pair of Indy 403's and it's raining like hell here in the (formerly drought-stricken) San Francisco Bay Area - a "super storm" that we haven't seen in over 5 years. Just wondering how chromexcel - without any pre-treatment, like Obenauf's, etc - would be in the rain and getting really wet?? Anything I need to be concerned about?? I did rub two coats of Obenauf's LP into the welt to darken it, but I'd rather not actually put anything on the chromexcel if possible, since I like it the way it is. Thanks in advance!

I've said it before but, very underrated boot. Virtually indusctrucible, super comfortable.

Awesome. I was just thinking about taking my virgin chromexcel 403's on an initial jaunt in Oakland, but I'd much rather be in those Kudu 404's!!
