Also, anyone know of an available tobacco (or other darker brown) suede/chamois WT boot?
I've never owned the plantation sole, but I hear they are quite comfy. I'm not a huge fan of the looks so I personally would go neo-cork.

Leffot in NYC ran a pre-order for the tobacco reverse chamois wingtip boot which is due in soon, I belive. (Which I am on)! I have a feeling there may be some units left to purchase. Keep an eye out on Leffot.com.

These Daytrippers are rugged captoes made on the elegant Grant last. We've done them in black alpine grain on commando soles, which will get you through the season's harshest weather. Wear them with jeans or a suit and your feet will be high and dry.

Features: Grant Last, Black Alpine Grain Calfskin, Commando Soles

There’s something about Alden and wingtips that is inexplicable. Our Greenwich boots are a favorite among fans of both genres. This version is made on the Barrie last in versatile brown alpine grain calfskin. To complete the detailing we went with five brass eyelets, four speedhooks, and commando soles. What more can we say?

Is this real life? Wish I was a 9.5D, but sadly they would be too big.

Yes. They are gorgeous. It will be a tough choice between those and the Jcrew Alpine CXL WT boots.

Too bad neither's on commando. That would b the tie breaker.

$595 Greenwich...Leffot should just add $5 to have the first $600 Alden calf boot (unless I missed something else recently).

I think that ship probably sailed already.  The Leffot reverse chamois NST boot was $610 (granted it's not calf).  Also, I think JGilbert has had a number of non-boot offerings (plaza lasted NST blucher in Alpine grain on commando) for over $600.

Sure makes the remaining $6xx shell offerings look like a bargain. Nice looking boots though. I'm sure Leffot will sell most of them before Christmas.

That grain wingtip boot is straight FIYAH (Artie Lange voice)

Snuff or dark brown suede, on a sleeker last, might be more wearable while still having a formal/casual vibe.
