I just added another shell to my collection.  Not much of a boot guy, but I love my new ravello wingtip boot so much, I quickly snagged a BNIB color 8 version when I stumbled across it on the Bay the other day (sweet deal at $520).  Can't find any issues with it; they are first quality from TSM.  I snapped a quick pic indoors, but this pic doesn't do this boot any justice.  Natural light outdoors is usually my preferred setting, but wanted to get this out tonight.

sweet boots sir. you stole them at that price.

Repp, those are fantastic boots. The only boot that tops them are the Plaza Lasted version, but I am biased. I hope that you enjoy them.

First pair of LHS. The color on these is incredible. Very deep and rich - look awesome in the sun.

Mr. NY, those are great shoes. I am wearing my pair right now. I hope that you enjoy them. They are a great and versatile shoe.

First time trying to post a crappy cell phone pic directly from phone, hope it works.

I wanted to share my office carpet since others have been sharing over the past year since following the thread. Here's my 379x tankers. 3rd wearing. No treatment or brushing just wearing. Also exposing to indirect sunlight trying to bring out some of the brown. Haven't noticed any changed yet. 2 weeks into the process

Great looking Tankers my friend. Enjoy them!

On a somewhat related note, do you guys know which J crews have some Indy boots to physically try-on?  This could be anywhere in the country. Thanks.

At the Time Warner Center / Columbus Circle, perhaps?  I saw some shell and other Aldens there last December--might be worth a call...

Alden x Frans Boone "Dr. Jones" Boot in Color 8. Plaza Last.

Whatcha think about the Dr. Jones name? I thought it was a good way to capture the increased sophistication with the Plaza Last to the Indy boot. Still Indy, just more formal. :-)

Thank you DV, for the compliment on my new boots. I was really happy with the price. Your new alpine J Crew boots look like a great year-round, casual go-to option. Enjoy them often in great health, my friend!

Nice Alpine WT Boots, @MrDV. Question, are those on the Barrie last? The J. Crew description doesn't specify. Thx!

I think those are gorgeous.  I sent Kathy at Alden DC the link to those hoping that she would make those up.  BTW, she has the Michigan boot in green suede that look great.
