Mike,

Details on those (last, availability, etc)? I haven't been following as closely and feel like I've missed so much lately

These suede snuff boots are wearing nicely! Also I am a huge fan of the modified last.

Has there been a color 8 Indy boot with antique soles? I know every other model has been done, but haven't seen this.

Alby,

These were made for Harrison Limited down in Alabama. They are made around the Aberdeen Last and have been made maybe once or twice now. From what I could ascertain, this was a very small run. They came in 3 weeks ago. From reading their IG feed, it seems like they do have a list going for the next run. Contact them for more details or let me know if you have a more specific question.

Hi,

Would the Aberdeen last in and E width be wider than a Barrie last D width?

I would appreciate your opinion.

The answer is complicated. They should theoretically have the same sized heel boxes, but the Aberdeen has a very narrow toe box and the Barrie has a very wide toe box. Thus the Aberdeen in E would have a wider backend than the Barrie in D, but the Toe Boxes should be roughly the same width. Anyone have a specific example with measurements?

They would be similar in width. The Barrie will be slightly longer in the same numeric size. I wear 9.5E in Barrie and 10E in Aberdeen.

Fantastic. I really love Whiskey and Ravello in a SWB pattern. One of Alden's best IMO

If the Aberdeen was a half size larger, I'd say they would be similar in width at the balls of your feet.  But as Uncle Mac said earlier today, the Aberdeen last's toe box area is narrower (more pointy)... tot easy to compare to the roundness of the barrie toe box.

[Edit: Didn't read ahead.  mdubs and alciabades's responses are about the same as mine.  Sorry for the redundancy...]
