Ae brown shell looks like cigar.
i haven't seen the new ae dark brown shell. I hear they'll only make 50 pairs in dark brown.

These are damn near an exact copy of the LS boot contest winner a few years ago.

I agree, and avoid CXL for this reason.

Nice. What type of sole? Crepe? My Snuff Suedes have the double water lock leather sole. Probably a little too slippery for the snow. I am thinking about converting them to Alden proprietary OEM commando soles.

They are crepe, worked great last winter on the snow and ice.

TSM Ravello wingtip boots arrived yesterday, so I took some natural light shots this morning. My Grail boot has finally landed!

Congrats! They are a beautiful shade. Let's keep that shade going for the in production NST.

Awesome! I would wear my Snuff Suedes in light rain, snow and ice, but nothing heavy.

Just thinking if it's worthwhile to convert to commando soles for $95. I really like the double water lock leather sole, but wouldn't mind some traction.

I have a pair of suede LWB with double waterlock that I really like, but I usually prefer to have some extra cushion with the rubber sole for my flat feet.

If you decide to do it, you'd at least be able to show them off year round.
