What's the original and discounted price? That should make it clear.

750 discount to 425. Thanks I'm guessing its shell b/c of the price. Sure they are long gone but will stay on hold and try to get through

Weather got cold enough to break out some boots. Wore the Cigar Indys yesterday but no pic. Today is the Ravello Shortwing Boots from TSM. I bought these in 2011. I think they were just over $600 at the time. I bought them with the Cigar LWB. These were my first two Aldens and my first shell shoes. I remember TSM having lots of Ravello, Whiskey, and Cigar back then.

Some shots of the Ravello plain toe on Modified

The boot/last is all I'd hoped and then some..it's SUPER light with great support, not to mention shade

For comparison I've included a couple shots of two other Ravello pair as well as a group shot with Whiskey and Cigar

Because signing up doesn't work for all.  Also, being on the list before doesn't guarantee you will receive them next time around.

I can fit into an 11D in barrie and they will conform but the ball of my foot will cover the whole welt. Never tried the Trubalance in 11D. I had thought these where on the Aberdeen last, but i have never ventured into other Alden lasts. I have used Google and the search function but if possible i would like to get a straight answer.

Also thinking about these and wondering sizing as well, I had heard these are the M58 last but again not sure.

I don't think anyone can answer as definitively as you would like.  I could work, but may not.  I wear 8.5D TTS and an 8E was sloppy feeling on my foot.  Others don't seem to have a problem interchanging the D and E widths depending upon sizes and lasts.  Aberdeen is the "tightest" last and it just doesn't work for some people.  Try on the shoes in person.  If you can't do that then be prepared to gamble.

Thank you.

The BB shell blucher on the M-58 last is a little tricky when comparing it to the barrie last.  I go with the same size in barrie, but the M-58 last will feel significantly more narrow and trim.  It fits my foot perfectly in 10.5D.  The same size in barrie is a bit wider and rounder in the toe box, but the length should be about the same.  If your barrie size is snug, I would size up 0.5 with the BB shell PTB.

All the best...
