Thank you sir.
I hear brushing has a lot to do with maintaining a nice even shine.
But, these are just an older batch, much more orange than other ravello.

Oh wait...you probably meant the Ravello...
Thanks.
Sadly, the good folks of San Diego voted to regulate and hike up water prices in last week's elections. My grass is going to take a hit.

I think that Alden should pay your water bill with the quantity of shoes that you have inadvertently sold for them via your pics.

Pardon my ignorance, but Alden makes a Ravello shade in calf leather as well?

I had a three hour lay-over in Tampa a week ago last Friday.  It was a ghost town there for a Friday night.  I sat alone at a bar wearing my color 8 perf CT boots (J Crew).  I should have messaged you!  ;)

Unfortunately they do not. Ravello is a shade exclusive to Alden and to Shell Cordovan. They do have a calf color that is somewhat close to it though, but it's name is evading me at the moment.

BK, great looking 974s! Uncle Mac would approve them! How does the Tremont fit you?

Maybe thinking of something like JCrew's waxed LWB in "tobacco"?  Totally different shade of tobacco (somewhat like Ravello, sort of, kind of) compared to tobacco chamois and reverse chamois.

Also see these burnished tan DOVERS by Leffot - surprised I haven't seen more mention of them before:

Always makes me regret selling them! But I have two others to hug to make me feel better.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll take good care of them.
And yes, depending on how much water you use, your bill will be going up pretty soon.

That's my dream. A sponsor. Alden, rl, ep...
I specially envy golfers who are paid to use the best equipment and wear and play all freaking day.

They have a few tan calf offerings that are somewhere in the ballpark of Ravello.

Those are surprisingly nice as a standard business wardrobe staple.

Whay Alden does not have a regular offer of all the boots? its a matter of looking in shops and pray to get a favourite model
