A beautiful couple of additions to my Alden family arrived today. Been on my list for a while and got lucky after some people passed on this one, DC Whiskey PTB and a #8 keychain just for the hell of it.

Got some kind of lighting angle tiger stripe thing going on the right shoe, took a few pics showing it at it's worse. It doesn't bother me as it isn't visible looking directly down at the shoes and once they crease it will be virtually unnoticeable.

Overall a great shade and slightly darker compared to my SF Whiskey LHS from earlier this year. A few indoor pics and one with some natural light comparing the two whiskeys.

Hey guys, I am looking for a snuff suede belt to match my Alden Indy snuff suede boots. All I could find is this one...

http://m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/allen-edmonds-players-suede-belt/3554655?origin=os

It's a shame Alden is not making belts anymore. Any cheaper options out there?

Slightly cheaper, and a nice gateway into Ep gear.

I wonder if the buckle could be unscrewed , belt trimmed, and then punch new holes..

might have to buy and try. I've been needing a snuff belt

That could be an option. I just called Epaulet and they'll be replenishing sometime soon, no ETA though. I may just pull the trigger on the one from Nordstrom.
