I am willing to wager Ravello plain toe boots will become available through a U.S.-based retailer eventually. But I understand someone's eagerness to acquire a less common style.

Modified last rare shell makeup not being made in N America. You can read "Modified last petition" thread in CM.

Moulded Shoe might cook something up in the future but you never know!

I'm going to let go my Leffot Tankers worn once indoors, oh well.

These have a really nice color and the laces are a nice touch.

24 now, first pair of 404s from Barneys sale at 21, then 403s a few months later and then this pair from B&S

I have to say, that I am with Smoothie. I dig the PTB and Chukkas, but the Plain Toe Boot is outside of my taste preference. Even in this killer Ravello color. But that is good, as there is one less person to compete with for them! Who knows, my tastes grow and change over time.

$1200 for a PT Boot, nope not for me. If funds did not matter my answer may be different.

Great boot but good call. Can always replace at a later date. Where as there may not be another opportunity for that Ravello boot.

Thanks D! It's a tough call but it needs to be done.

Alden x Leffot Naval Boot. Frankly I let a forum member *cough* @sazon talk me into buying these, and I am really glad that I did. They look spectacular and I think they may be my favorite pairing with Selvedge Raw Denim...

Smoothie, it's not just about a Ravello PTB. It's on the MODIFIED LAST - no shoe maker makes a last like it, and it is truly perfect for some. I did pass on this boot because of the price, though. A few years ago I paid a premium for the cigar ptb from Anatomica - and it was $800.

And the Leffot Naval Boots got their maiden voyage today! :-)

I also finally got my RRLs back from being hemmed and tappered. I am super happy with them as well, I was soo excited to wear them that I wore them on a Wednesday! :-) Only did a half day due to a doctor's appointment, so it was too bad... :-)

Looks great Mike!!! Did you use a local tailor for your denim mods or a specialized shop?
