Also, this has been mentioned here before (but probably not often enough - after a few years, even whiskey that was originally light in color will darken to a ravello reddish-brown.

It would be interesting to see a picture of a 5+ year old ravello next to a 5+ year old whiskey. I'd imagine the variation would not be very significant.

Yeah, but that aside I find it much easier to just return the shoes than I do to sell them. I don't need tontake pictures, write up a description, and wait for someone to realize I have a package of awesomeness...

I can't post a photo right now but I can state that a 5+ year old whiskey longwing is indistinguishable from a 2-3 year old ravello wingtip boot.
