leather of choice for rainy days?

Looking to add a pair to my collection that can withstand moderate rain. I'm also not considering commando or leather soles.

Thanks!

Quite honestly, this is what I'm struggling with. If my Whiskeys show up almost identical to Ravello tomorrow, I might take another shot at Whiskey. @mdubs Whiskey looks so different from only a few weeks prior.

I'm also very intrigued about SF whiskey LWB's , if they end up being that shade they might go back, too close to my ravellos but I have to wait a few days to find out.

Yeah, here is the pic of my two pairs together. I can probably take more comparison photos if needed.

So I spoke to the NYC store today and they told me there was a spot or two left for a whiskey shell chukka. How can we make a naval style boot happen in the whiskey shell? I know Alden doesn't do MTOs but isn't there a way to get one of these retailers to do it? Obviously Alden can get Whiskey shell, it's just a matter of getting people into it? Which I assume would be easy?

I'm dying for a plain toe 6-inch boot in a light whiskey-tan shell. Pipe dream?

Thanks. I used to have the Color 8 Indys that you just got too, but ended up selling them as I thought I was getting too much Color 8.

It's just a matter of getting vendors to be interested in a specific design. Also note that new designs can only me submitted in the Fall (Sept) and Spring (March-April) timeframe. Alden doesn't do MTOs or GMTOs. I gave up on trying to get a Whiskey Cap Toe boot and did a GMTO via C&J.

Funny cuz it was your video that helped me over the fence on these!
Never too much color 8!

Those church hill Indys are so sweet. I slept on them and now my size is gone.

And my size of the Color 8 Indys is in stock at TSM. Too bad I have to pay my property tax bill instead.

I'm enjoying the Chuch Hill Indys. They somehow don't feel like Indy boots due to the narrower sole.

Very nice. I think I like the Ravello more though. But it appears from this picture it would be real close to the Marlow however.

Even if I did this video outdoors, the title would still be "in my closet" since that's where the shoes live.
what is the second pair from the left?
