The apparent color variation could be due or different cameras / lighting / etc

Thanks. Was not sure what the etiquette is in this situation. I have a good relationship with TSM and Alden Madison so I have no worries emailing them. With Carmel I have no relationship and I'm guessing they get a lot of emails / calls after a shoe like this gets shipped out.

Thanks. I'm not signed up for MyUPS , so I guess I'll wait for the package to arrive to arrive.

Btw - I was wondering about a minor thing: Alden SF ships for free (all US, over $75), but I was charged $15 shipping from DC- Is that a mistake, or are policies different between the stores?

If your gonna wear them with suits my personal rule is to polish them to a high shine.

Thanks!

Thank you for your compliments gentlemen.  I really enjoy my shoes and boots.  And, as you men already know, I have a soft spot for Alden's in particular.

Thanks!

I have a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers and a pair of Wolverine Courtland 1000 Mile boots, so these suede beauties will complement my boot collection very nicely.

Congrats on the new purchase.  I own the Courtlands and the suede Indy's as well.  Both great shoes.  Yeah, I think my suede Indy's were the first one I paid full price on.  You need a shell for that collection as well :D

enjoy the boots..and show some pics

Thanks! I'd like to see some pics of your suede Indy's. The snuff suede color is hard to pin down in pics. It's looks like a medium golden brown. Anyway, they are sharp looking boots that will pair well with jeans and khakis.

My understanding is that all Alden shops are independently owned and I don't think Alden controls their shipping charges. Alden Madison charges me $10 and TSM is free.

That sage boot is awesome...if they made my size I would haver ordered. Barrie boots in 12 barely fit so I am assuming the Aberdeen 12 will be way to tight.

I really hope that's the case , if not they'll look almost like my Ravello and makes no sense to me having almost the same shade on the same style.
