Sell them and buy a new pair? More seriously, not to my knowledge. Once the shoe is creased, that is going to be a natural point of weakness and will continue to be a creasing point. Some have used the "pen trick" to attempt to control the creasing point.

Hi everyone, I would like to formally apologize for acting like and asshole continuously on the forum time and time again. Please except my apology and I hope we can move forward.
I recently picked up a new pair of Alden jcrew 405 and there was a minor issue with the stitching. So I got another pair but now I am thinking of keeping both as there is a lot of color variance and would like your opinion if these are issue to be concerned with or just keep and wear.
Thank you

I also picked up the new tan Indys as well and am really loving those

@fotchottie, I must be missing something based upon your apology. I think both Indy boots look beautiful and their flaws are slightly annoying, but I would consider them to be tolerable. As Mac has told me before, they are shoes and not Rembrand's! Wear them, beat them, and care for them.

Haven't seen you in a few days! Always a pleasure to see the recurring feet. Those look rather nice. Congrats on your purchase from Leffot and wear them well and often.

I have a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers amber harness and Wolverine Courtland 1000 Mile brown leather. I love them both, but wear the Wolverines more often. They are a more diverse boot in my opinion, especially with the vibram rubber pad and heal lift. I've been intrigued by the Alden Indy boot, which is similar in style to the Wolverine Courtland 1000 Mile boot. The Alden Indy snuff suede boots really caught my eye. Very nice looking boot! These would look great with jeans and khakis.

These would round out my boot collection. What is the double waterlock leather sole? I understand that suede is more delicate and tougher to maintain than leather, but that's ok. How will the suede snuff wear over time? What do y'all think about this boot?

@walds11 I am not a huge Indy boot fan but that being said I think the suede one is great..with some proper suede care you should be fine but certainly would not go clearing forests in them.
