Interested to know how you find out about the shell offerings from AofC. I understand they don't maintain wait lists for future runs, so just wanting to know how I can get in line for a pair of Ravello or Cigar LWBs...

Model 2259 is the captoe blucher (straight tip) on the Aberdeen last, on double leather.

I have that model. It is a great shoe, and quite rare.

Good fast service from them. He's got several sizes left and these can bit a bit difficult to find (I'd actually been looking for my size for over a year).

Gentlemen, this was one amazing day here! Excellent work, some mighty fine array of footwear. Hate to say it, but those 6-eyelet NST Chukkas of Mac took the day though. All keep it coming!

Thanks Mr. Beebs! Appreciate it, but totally unnecessary. Yeah, I have had better trips than this past weekend. But I got home, so that is all that matters.

The only rare shells that AoC does is LWBs. Just E-mail Adam and some day the magic green box appears. The number one key to Alden Shoe acquisition is patience.

Thx for that. Is there any number that indicates the color of the shoe?

From the picture, the issue is not with the stiching. If that's the case, give your local cobbler $5 and have him glue it.

Alden hand sewn shoes aren't cordovan, and they're not incredibly stylish, but they're very comfortable and they do go real well with jeans.
