They've got to be from one of the Plaza houses.

They are certainly unique.

Pretty good-looking, if you ask me.  And my size, too.  Dammit.

Pretty sure it's J Gilbert.  I believe that seller has another black shell short wingtip blucher on plaza also.  That listing does indicate J Gilbert.  They have both been up for a long while with no takers.  I thought about it but passed.  They look pretty cool.

They look like faux wingtips though.

Stitched and punched only, with one piece of leather.

^^^ I don't think that's the case. I think there is more than one piece on that front portion of the shoe. It isn't just punching and stitching like some of those god-awful AE models that come and go. I could be wrong though. I can't get a better look on my I-phone

Looked at it on my monitor and it looks two piece...did blow up the image as much as I could...

Noticed an issue on my Indy's today. Was hoping to get some feedback on the forum if it's something to be worried about:

new pair of shell cordovan saddles on ebay for $499. Not my listing and generally not a style that I would ever wear but I'd think these are right for someone here.

I've been lurking for a long time, but I thought I'd share a photo of the AoC cigar longwings that just arrived:

These are not my first Aldens, but they are my first shell shoes. I'm pretty damn thrilled, actually. I think my next move is to head over to B. Nelson to have some taps and sole protectors put on.

^^ Nice way to enter the Alden shell game. I started with Whiskey shell LWB, myself. Congrats!

I wish my chukkas were 6 eyelet.  I really like mine, but they are hard to keep the laces tied and tight.  Uncle these are simply incredible!

See Ya,

Steve
