Beautiful! Love both this rich dark brown and the lighter, more olive tinted.

Question for folks who grab Innsbruck, Ultimate, and any other calf Indys...

Do you folks not have a standard 403/405 Indy? I'm curious if you're buying a second Indy that you like more or if it's your first purchase.

My first Alden was the 405 (just looked... I remember when $337.50 - the price I paid after a big J. Crew discount coupon - was a HUGE purchase for me). I haven't ever considered an Ultimate or Innsbruck or the Unionmade offerings or anyone else's even though I like how they look. I may purchase a Chocolate suede Indy in the future (someone in this thread routinely posts theirs and I crush on it every time), I maaay purchase a Natural CXL one on the Barrie (can't remember who made that, but I liked how it looked), and of course I'd love them in rare shell (and even #8 shell). But the idea of a second brown Indy calf shoe does not corss my mind at all and I'm wondering what you folks who are buying them are doing.

At this point one can not be picky. However, I should have specified. I mean an NST blucher. The aberdeen does not work for me.

I'd take a boot but the tankers are hot lately.

I personally dont see any reason to overlap, if you have the 405 just roll with it. Its a beautiful boot.

I had a lined Indy for a number of years, I forget what I even paid but Im sure it was nowhere near what I just shelled out for the Innsbruck.

I will say thou that, I absolutely love the Innsbruck and Im happy I waited for it.

Try JGilbert. She has a run of Color 8 NSTs on the PlazaLast in production. I'd have to look and see who stocks them on the Barrie.

I'm not sure if I've seen an NST blucher on the Barrie. But as someone said, maybe the Plaza lasted version from JG would work.

The Shoe Mart and Citishoes have made them. Citishoes had a run in both whiskey and cigar.

The more you wear the 405, the better it looks, so I wouldn't get another in brown cxl/calf. If you wear boots all the time, maybe you get another style for versaility (natural CXL, for example).

I haven't purchased the #8 lwb w antique because I don't want them to double cross w my 975 and cigar lwb w antique... But now I see I have to get them. Killer denim as well.

I have owned both of these. I think they are redundant. Both go with casual looks, neither really go with business suits. I would go cigar LWB and pair it with a standard color 8 blucher (you have 975, but in my case it is the 990)
