(from yesterday)  I know this isn't Alden but many here have them and appreciate them as if they were Alden.  Besides, the stone surface is my attempt to mimic Uncle's standard setting...

C&J for RL Marlow Wingtips and BB argyles

^ Very nice. Seems like the CJ Marlow is the one non-Alden that has "honorary Alden status" on this thread. I have the Lindrick and have resisted these but may cave one day.

It's supposedly from the cape cod collection but i cant find any record of it being sold anywhere.  The serial number is 94338.

I can't offer any help on sourcing those, but I like them a lot!

I bought my Marlows I think four or five years ago and to this day wear them more than Cigar LWB, 990, etc. If had the opportunity to construct a cordovan collection from scratch, it would be my first buy. IMO the Marlow and the 975 are the co-kings of cordovan bluchers.

Sigh, haven't posted much but got a bad news call from Yenni yesterday.  My navy cxl indy ripped while lasting and didn't pass QC, so I don't be getting my order.  And I passed on the Epaulet preorder for the navy cxl tanker on commando cause I had these in the pipe.  FWP

It appears to be earth chamois.

I thought the Shoe Mart sold it previously, but they don't list it now.

Alcibiades, if memory serves, you are 9.5E.  Were you able to find an E width in your size?  The only issue I have with the Marlow is that it pinches in on my toes because of its slightly narrow, sleek last.  For me they are not nearly as comfortable as the 975.  They are however, comfortable enough to enjoy them especially after a break-in period.
