Great find! That combo is most excellent :slayer:

Was wondering if there is a standard and accepted way of doing that or if anyone has had good results with a particular method. Would a dark cream polish work, then?

Thanks in advance.

I've used a dark brown shoe cream to match the laces on my brown CXL Indys before. It wears off after time, but is easily re-applied. I'm not sure of a more permanent solution. I eventually acquired enough plain toe boots and just embraced the moc toe style for what it was on them and haven't tinted them in a while. I also darkened the natural welt on my Indy boots with polish and wear so they weren't so contrasty and bright.

I think Epaulet was considering a color 8 version on Aberdeen last, commando soles, brass eyelets and speed hooks (i.e., "Innsbruckified").  The idea seemed to gain some attention there about a week or so back but not sure it is clear yet whether it will happen or when.

After having my hands on the cigar Aberdeen cap toe, I really would like to have an Aberdeen boot, but I don't think it is the last for brass, commando, and antique edge. The Shoe Mart NST version seems perfect for Aberdeen. Having said that, if Epaulet lists the preorder, it will probably be gone within hours.

+1 ^ I have the TSM version, all that would overwhelm the look for me.
