Found a great deal on a nice snuff belt.  ($39 from Banana Republic a couple of weeks ago)

They're the only pair of Alden boots I have (rest are chukka or lwb - still growing my collection) and I gotta say, they look better scuffed than clean. Switch up the color of the laces and make it interesting. It's a pretty go-to boot for me. Been wearing them for about a year now.

Thank you.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to that.

Yes, I've had a wee bit of the squeak today. Nothing that bad though.

Thanks - appreciate that.

Does anyone sell a 403 with a Vibram sole?
I'm a bit bummed.

I know its hard when the wife doesn't like your pickings, but this is a classic boot, tried and true through the years. If you like it, I'd say keep it. You'll regret letting it go.

Well how about that, been looking for a deal on a snuff belt, seems sold out online now. I wonder if they would have them in store.

I was eyeing that one but already sold out in my size too, it looks unreal. Tough call if I want to spend $105 USD with shipping (about $120 CAN) on a belt that would only get use every 2-3 weeks vs the $37 the BR one is currently going for. Will have to just keep my eyes peeled.

The new epaulet CXL belts look nice too but I am worried about them stretching a lot since they aren't lined. I have a Rancourt brown CXL belt and it's amazing and has held up great after a year so far. When the time comes for a natty CXL belt I might go through Rancourt again.

So I am in the market for a pair of color 8 shell shoes on crepe that I can pick up relatively soon.

I can do a PTB or LWB. 8E or 8.5D or a chukka in 8D or 8E.

Anyone have any leads for me?

The rancourt CXL belts are slightly too wide for me.

I wish they were slightly thinner.
