This must be a new makeup for BB since all sizes are due to ship on 9/15. Will be wearing these around a lot this fall! biggrin.gif

Good to know about the return shipping. My guess is that I'll change my mind on the size a few times between now and the 15th.  I'm with you in that these will be my go-to casual shoes until the snow arrives. Again, thanks for the PSA.

I thought about that but I'll just exchange if these turn out to be too big.  My jcrew captoe's are a tight fit as a 9 and my leffot NST's feel fine as a 9.5. At this point i dont what my TTS is. With the BB's being strictly casual I'll likely wear with thicker socks so I decided to go 9.5. Well see how it works out.

Maiden voyage.  Loving the chamois.  Don't normally cuff but tried it out for the sake of a photo.

Thinking of returning my alpine grain NST boots for these....I keep thinking between these and my AE Long Branches all bad weather would be covered.

The alpine grain works better in rain (much of the water rolls off the upper, without getting it soggy)... but these would work too ofcourse (@budapest12 great boots btw!). Plus, i think many of us are covered several times over, as far as foul-weather shoes/boots are concerned :embar:

LOL...that is an excellent point! going in for 2 of the AE GMTO boots so trying to hold out on these...

those are dressier boots, no? (at least the merlot and navy)... I know how you feel - difficult decisions! (especially when my footwear already outnumbers the wife's, 2 to 1 !)

Yeah somewhat the Merlot one is more casual than the Navy... For the price really hard to beat

Merlot calf w/ tone-on-tone stitching; Chili flat welt; Black Dainite w/ leather midsole; medium brown edge dressing; brass eyelets and speedhooks, with the 3 top most being speedhooks

I am holding out hope the Alden Tanker in #8 with the Brass Eyelets and mini lug comes down the ordering line soon... or not that soon.
