Anyone know of any color 8 PTBs with a lighter welt and blind eyelets? I recall Bureau having some a few months ago, but they were pricier than usual since they were coming from the UK. I think they went on sale, but I sadly missed them...

Thanks!!

Leffot does an unlined version in the Dover pattern. You would have to get lucky on a preorder though. I am patiently waiting for the next preorder.

I tried these on when I was at Leffot last year. Gorgeous shoe. I was surprised how soft the unlined shell was. I would prefer it lined, but I get what Leffot was aiming for: color 8 "slippers." They totally are.

Breck, you will definitely love these boots, especially if you are an Indy fan.

DV, the classic calfskin Indy was my first foray into the world of Aldens. These Cigar Indys were my 3rd pair of shell from Alden. Although my preferences for boot lasts have evolved over time (from TrueB to Barrie to Grant), I still love this pair.

Thanks, Mike. This pair is just over 1 year old, bought last July at TSM. They were much darker at that time and have only now started to display any sort of nice patina. I hope my Cigar cap toes from Alden DC age nicely as well.

You asked for it.

Sorry @tifosi

If @bkotsko can post his, I can post mine:
