I had quite the clamorous adolescence; you couldn't pay me to go through that again!  Thanks a bunch Spiff.  I have been working hard with the video camera this summer.  My lines and plane are looking really good!  I'm ready to chase some competitive hardware this fall.  I haven't actually sported those madras pants on the links yet.  Maybe this fall during the State Mid-Am.  Game better be in great shape to sport those!

Many use the designation Tanker Boot to refer to any of the three. Some of us, myself included, use the designation NST Boot to refer to any of the three. And some use NFB as the designation (Norwegian Front Boot) - such as JGilbert.
+7 again... Good man here! Thanks...

It's a fine idea RF.  If it doesn't pan out, I would be elated to have the Cigar LHS with antique edge.  (I may actually prefer the cigar)

Sorry, I have to jump in and provide a slight clarification. Alden has their standard single and double leather soles which are oak tanned. They also have the oil soaked soles which provide superior wet weather performance. I have heard that they are a pidge softer than the standard oak tanned soles. The single oil soaked sole is known as the "flex sole" or typically called the "flex welt". The double oil soaked sole is known as the "double Waterlock" sole.

Other than that slight clarification, my friend speaks the truth. Alden applies a small layer of cork for comfort under the insole prior to attaching the outsole. And the oil soaked soles are still made of leather and if you like Toppy's, this may or may not cause you to rethink that practice.

Thanks for providing the clarification, Mike.  I was close...:embar:

Look like a solid case to take to Leffot! Count me in too, let's try and get a #8 run! plus a cigar run at same time!

See Ya,
Steve
