Saz, your boots look killer. Keep on sporting your fine Aldens.

And I'll tell you what else: I've seen others comment that the plantation crepe is like wearing a pair of Nikes and, man, were they right. If I could never buy anything but crepe again, I'd be a happy fat guy. (Except I'm losing weight, so I'd be a happy medium guy.)

At any rate, have a good one. Stay warm and dry out there.

Keith, those WT boots like awesome. Alden's Navy CXL color is very beautiful.

PSA: Epaulet has posted their remaining sizes available for the pretty much awesome Innsbruck Indy.

If I was in the market, I would have grabbed already.

Thanks, Mike! This was a pre-order and the wait was unusually long. Just FYI. I pre-ordered these in October 2013.

I think that is that is the best looking CXL Indy

That's pretty much it for non
stock models these days. True about the other options though.

Are these different from the Ultimate Indy only in the color of the eyelets & hooks?  Welt, edge and stitching (I think) look the same?  Both are fully lined?

I am feeling pretty good about grabbing the stock 403 brand new from a member here for $415. Commando sole would be nice, but not for an extra $160+tax/shipping.

Ryden, I am pretty close to you, but I sometimes bounce back and forth on the Brass Eyelets and Hooks. I think I like this and the LS Ultimate Indy pretty much equally...

I can understand that. I think though that the brass plays quite well with the richness of brown Cxl and gives it a bit more of that old school workboot vibe. If it were natural CXL I would not be a fan. But I own the lowly J Crew version, so what I do know...

Thank you kindly Sir.

These cigars are the sole remaining Cigars in my wardrobe.

I bought the 403 brand new with box on clearance for $300 a year ago. Great boot but wish I hadn't. Even at full price, I would rather have the Ultimate Indy, Innisbrook, Brown Chrmxl Wingtip boot on commando, or the tobacco chamois wingtip boot on commando. Instead, I've accepted my poor lot in life with the most iconic Alden make-up, the 403. biggrin.gif

Aside from LS, does anyone else do a Brown or #8 CXL Tanker with Commando?  Thanks!
