Make sure you ask for Ralph.

Can't tell if you are being serious or not. But in all of my experience I found Ralph to be the single biggest d$Ck and most unhelpful person ever. Anthony on the other hand is awesome.

I've been there a few times and none of them seem eager to help "zero in" on proper sizes for various lasts. Ralph helped me with my van last size and didn't want to go any further. I was ready to snag a pair but said screw it; I'll get it from someone who will treat me with curtesy and respect. By far, the most helpful people are at Alden SF and DC (at least in my experience). I will buy from them whenever I can, then Leffot, Alden Carmel, Unionmade, Epaulet (all of which are about the same in helpfulness and curtesy -- strong), and last would be Alden on Madison, who have been downright mean and rude whenever I've been there.

Denim and Alden pics to ensue on Fridays and weekends.

What denim are you all rockin with your Aldies?

-Dubs

Aldens + Denim is my main thing since I work in a very casual/creative industry:

- Indy in Brown CXL
- Unlined Chukka in Snuff Suede
- PT boot in smooth chamois, double water lock, Barrie last
- Soon to add the AF53 to the rotation when my preorder comes in this month (Color 8, Trubalance, Commando)
- I also rotate in a C&J Islay boot in dark brown scotch grain and a Lucchese Roper Boot in dark brown goat

Any recommendations on how to get on any future preorders for Ravello LWB... I would be looking for 8.5D. Just started my Alden obsession and those are the ones that I have been looking for... Thanks...

Contact the usual suspects and request to be on their waiting list: Alden DC, Alden NY, Alden SF etc...

Working with Skoak is great for MTO EGs. In my experience, Leffot gets beat by many retailers in the CS department.

Fantastic look. Where did you get the chukkas? Which fabric is that on those olive driggs?

After that:

Have several RRL with the Japanese denim. Big fan of these but only bought them on sale.

Also starting to really appreciate Epaulet's denim. Excellent value but I do wish they'd move on a fuller cut model already.

@mdubs

Listen to Budapest here, he knows what he speaks. I would also throw in Flat Heads from self edge...
